Just a quick question for the NRM staff. Where is the Michael Palin nameplate?
I know it was donated to the NRM when Virgin took it off there train but where is it?

Nameplate, Michael Palin, ex Class 221 Virgin Super Voyager, No. 221130, presented to the National Railway Museum by Michael Palin on behalf of Virgin Trains on 29/02/08. Currently in store whilst being accessioned. This from the Collections Database.

    Cheers
    Anthony

You'll proberly never see it, there are many in there just outside the workshop which always have locos infront of them, one I want a good photo of is Empire of India, and upstaires the was Dominion of New Zealand but this has now vanished in the reorganization.

Stuff moves in and out, and maybe a request to staff for access to a certain plate would bring success.
