    That would be easy to do by changing the group to public, then you wouldn’t need a Facebook account to view, although you have to set the posting rights correctly to avoid a spam fest.

    I do sometimes wonder if people realise how many railway related groups are now on Facebook with some interesting news and content which really complements this forum.

    Unfortunately Facebook have an appalling reputation for poor security and seem unwilling to do anything about it. My browser even has provision to sideline any Facebook content that reaches it.
    I am continually surprised by the willingness of web-site organisers to expose their members and other interested parties in this way.

    I see quite a lot of references to Facebook (and also receive requests to add them to the Websites Database on my website), but I find FB very poor as a reference source (anything other than the latest updates is almost impossible to find).
    I also find the constant nagging to sign up while browsing public sites on FB quite annoying and will not inflict that on others.
    So I do not add links to FB from my website.
