    Does anyone know the mechanical condition of pannier tank 5764 as it’s been out of traffic since 2011. How much work would be involved to restore it? In a similar vein, does the SVR still have a spare 57xx pannier boiler and set of wheels?

    The spare pannier boiler is in bridgnorth yard as it has been since it came off 7714. I don't think any work has been undertaken on it. On a separate note, 4150 hauled it's first passenger train in preservation today, double heading with 7714.
