A couple of blog posts today showing progress with the installation of the North Bridge Street level crossing with pictures. Evidently the work is ahead of schedule.

[MEDIA] From 24 July to 2 August 2026, the German Railway Association celebrated its 60th anniversary in Bruchhausen-Vilsen. The heritage railway from Bruchhausen-Vilsen to Asendorf is also Germany’s first heritage railway. Alongside the...

I'm sorry to say this Colin, but I find a lot of this to be absolutely mind- numbing, and I do find myself automatically zoning out of it. I'm sure I'm not alone. I'd guess that 99% of us on here don't wish to see the L&B as some kind of...

  5. Breva liked TonyW's post in the thread The Douglas Bay Horse Tramway.

Years ago, the tracks at the ferry terminal extended further than they did in recent years, from Loch Promenade in to what is now a car park. This extension was, IIRC, only used to terminate the working and run-round the horse, i.e. always empty...

I have bought shares in several projects, they are just papers in a drawer. There is no market for them, I consider them just donations. Lyn is up and running, so sending the money to the project worked, and the result is there for all to see....

Does the '762 club' have members/shareholders or are they merely donors? It seems to me that the project's aims are clear, so the only question is whether they're delivering it, or not. Up-thread was a link to a progress video. I watched it, and...

When I volunteered with a Dutch club we took over a DB class 42 oil burner. It came from a power station that bought it straight out of service as a standby boiler. When we eventually got it there was evidence of mattress forming in the firebox....

What exactly is the point you are making Colin? Those links go to Companies House and the Charity Commission - are you asking us to read everything on those sites to try to work out what you think the problem is?
