Interesting! There was no mention of that at Ropley on Saturday.
Just passed Brookwood. Anyone seen it yet? I'm sad that Bodmin has "left home", but will be happy to see her return to work, especially if she gets some mainline work.

34016 is listed on the MHR site as 'Awaiting Overhaul', and won't have a main line certificate anyway. It would be interesting to know what the Southall move is about.

It would be nice to think so, but it's odd that the MHR site makes no mention of it. Of course, 34016 had a good spell of main line 'Steam Dreams' work for a few years from the inception of that operation.

Only because the loco has now had a long association with the MHR and if it is to be restored to main line running/is leaving the MHR, that would probably interest those who visit the line's web site.

The 45407 move from Fort William to Carnforth today (Thurs) seems not to have happened.

It was up on the board on Sunday as "Bodmin to leave", however I have seen this several times before yet she never seemed to leave! Remember she was due to leave before the spring gala!
