HELP REQUIRED - I have spent a couple of hours or so trawling the internet with zero success trying to identify this industrial 0-6-0ST photographed at Loughborough Central circa 1974. My memories from that time are that the railway relied upon Littleton No.5, Robert Nelson No.4 and the Norwegian 2-6-0 King Haakon VII for motive power and this not any of these. Any information gratefully received

There was a Hunslet 0-6-0ST no.39 at Loughborough in the early days. Converted to an 0-6-0T at some stage. I wonder if it's that.

It moved to Loughborough from Foxfield with the ex-Littleton locos and Marston No.3.

Apologies Ian , should have said that yes it is No.39 which carried GCR livery for a spell IIRC . It was Roger Hibbert's as well at the time

The man who did the conversion to a side tank I believe. It was active as a saddle tank during the days of Loughborough Central being a steam centre with footplate rides only. Can't recall seeing it do line work though.
