Funny, I could never see what had been done to 6024 to get her to fit on the mainline, but as soon as that picture loaded up I saw the difference on 6023, even from the low angle

It's the safety valve bonnet on 6023/4 that does it looks wise, the chimney on 6023 you can just about get away with looks wise.

Should be a great event. Hoping to get there early for the opening Commemoration service:http://www.didcotrailwaycentre.org.uk/news/latest.html#news01

"A short commemoration service for Sir Nigel Gresley and Charles Collett will be held on 5 April at 10am, finishing with all three locomotives simultaneously sounding their whistles for 1 minute."

What a sound that will be. I wonder if they will use both whistles on 60163?

Just my opinion but they wouldn't be quite so "humble" if they didn't have a chuffing great copyright sign plastered on them. Never got beyond the index page I'm afraid.

    Hi
    Feedback genuinely appreciated
Wasn't keen on it myself but was encouraged by someone whose advice I value to use one
On reflection I think I will remove them
    Cheers

It's a discussion that crops up on all manner of forums where photography is concerned. I appreciate people not wanting their images pirated but to keep track of every publication and web site likely to be interested in using them is an impossible task. If it was a UK site or publication then you have recourse to law but if by some coincidence you found out it was in a Japanese magazine are you going to bother about suing somebody on the other side of the world?

MidlandRed, take my advice, move the watermark to a corner and reduce the opacity - that way it'll be less intrusive, but still there! ;)

Anyway, back to topic, going from the weather report tomorrow looks like its going to be a tad on the wet side - oh joy!!

Weather a side I'm looking forward to seeing the blue sisters (or, ahem, should that be nuns?) together. :)
