One each way would be very nice. Whilst I am here does anyone know the allocated steam loco for the Santa trains on Saturday? Hopefully a winner for my girls! Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'll canvas opinion down here as well, but it looks like on public opinion we'll have the M7 facing Swanage.

As for this weekend, its likely to be 80104 on the Santa's, 34070 on the lunch train and 33111 and 33202 top and tailed on the diesel feeder service.

    Which way will 30053 be?

Is 33202 actually running, because the latest update doesn't say it is! Will the 33 be on the freight at all?

Great Thanks, looking forward to going! Is any one else planning on going? Thinking it might be nice to have a couple of pints of 'regulator' or two!

Further to requests earlier in the thread, 30053 will be facing Swanage.

Anyone that's around, feel free to say hello; hopefully it will be a success and prove a spur for more events like this.

I'm SO disappointed that I can't make this one, due to very longstanding family stuff. I hope it draws a massive crowd and that the tills are very busy. Even though I won't be there, I love spontaneity!

Will the nest be open at Norden? Im planning to make the first train from there. Going to make a change going to this, giving the WSR event a miss this year to try this one!

First time also for us to miss the WSR Gala but very pleased with the events at Swanage. An intensive timetable of pass and freight held together well all day. Great stuff and what a perfect little SR cameo this line is with sensible use of hi viz as well. What a good day. I even got some class 33 haulage. Pity about the awful weather.
