Was 9 early off Peterborough but RTT doesn't seem to have updated since. Should be at the Connington water stop now.

Shut the shop a few minutes early once I saw 60009 was gaining time hand over fist after the Connington stop. Here she is leaning to the curve as she storms through Arlesey. Nice to see NR let her have the up main for a change.

 

Agree some lovely images already on show here well done Stuart and Henry. No 9 was running fifteen down and with no stop now needed at Retford she attacked the 1-in-178 gradient to Markham summit in fine Gresley style.
