Whistling Ghost 25/05/13

A fairly pleasing day out, lovely warm sunshine, some wide open action from 6960 climbing to Crowcombe and Washford and 5043 on Filton and Old Hill, not as much opportunity for sustained high speed this time out, but Westerleigh - Standish and Cheltenham - Abbotswood on the return was reeled off at a decent pace, definetly a winning itinery in my opinion, if a repeat is to be considered, if the timings could be tweaked to give at least 2 hours in Minhead, then it would be a near perfect day out

My video from the Whistling Ghost is just below, caught after it was leaving Cheltenham Spa on the outward. Wonderful performance, spoilt by 3 inconsiderate people and their dog talking over the top of the audio.

I bet the dog said "bl***y heck, that things got a louder bark than me."
