Hi, does anyone know where Great Marquess was heading from York after Saturday's tour?
Just noticed a move to Carnforth via Wakefield and Copy Pit today.

Not heading anywhere. The move back to Carnforth should be the 37 going back.

 

Union of south Africa @ York 6/4/13

Hi.does anyone know why the union of south Africa was at York today? was on way back from break and thought we'd stop off at national railway museum for a while.spotted it just sitting behind the main building couldn't see very well.just curious.thanks in advance jamie

She worked the Hadrain from Hellfield via Carlise last Saturday.

 

Apparently there is a 5Z94 York - Settle - Beattock - Thornton move Thurs. I believe locos are 61994 + 60009, plus 48151 as far as Hellifield.

Outline times are York dep 0644, Hellifield 0846 - 1046, Carlisle 1242 - 1414, Carstairs 1625 - 1711, Thornton 2013.

Realtime Trains

Nothing Hellifield - Carnforth, except the usual WTT path in the afternoon.

 

The three locos did arrive at Hellifield today with 48151 being detached to head for Carnforth with 60009 and 61994 carrying on to Thornton with the support coaches .

Galatea lit up outside shed Monday afternoon, ???

 

Galatea has left Hellifield towards Clitheroe with just 4 coaches in tow.
