    Evening All,

If anyone is interested to have a look, I have re-scanned and re-posted the
pictures that I took on the evening Merddin Emrys and Linda were posed at Tan y
Bwlch so that Terence Cuneo could make some sketches and take some photographs.
This enabled him to paint his now famous picture of trains (supposedly) crossing
    at TyB.

There are five pictures and these are now on Flickr; this is the first one and clicking on it will enlarge it and take you to the others :

Hope that they are of interest.

    Absolutely superb, thanks Ron.
John Gibbons took some pictures at this time. He has since died but I believe they are in the custody of the F.R. Society.

I seem to remember that on-lookers were not encouraged so there were very few people around to witness the occasion. It was pure luck that I happened to be having a week volunteering at Boston Lodge and thus became aware of a special train that evening - and the reason for it.

So am I wrong here then?

Where they a figment of my imagination? Or............did he show me copies of the originals taken for the purpose?..... we may never know? I'm fairly sure the pix where colour........... Unless someone can wade through the archive & I'm not sure who the person is who now organises this?

    Ah well.

Although there weren't many people around, I wasn't alone that evening. One or two others were also present and may well have taken some pictures. I wish that I had taken some colour shots, but it was rather dark so I opted for 400 ASA black and white film.
