Any news of this tour yet this morning? I'll be off to see it near Basingstoke after breakfast, and then probably to Tisbury, depending how the cloud-cover develops.

I hear it was 5 late at Clapham Junction

 

It was on time at Clapham.

Almost looks like a parcels train there's so many non rev vehicles in it... A few mix and match colours too.

3 GBRF 73's LE passed heading to the city.

 

Through the Vine Road (South) level crossing at Barnes around 0913. Going too fast for me. (Or rather my limited camera skills) Got the focus all wrong!

Personally I think that's a fine shot - gives a great impression of speed, and the sky almost gives it the look of a painting.

 

Have to agree with Sheff, its turned out rather train advertising poster style of the 60's with the swishing blue sky all around ! Could paint shop the light out of the chimney but I do quite like the impression. Painted ??? Pete

Gen coach (6310!) directly behind support coach, could hear the bloody thing go a couple of minutes before 70000 appeared!

Agreed, it makes a 37 sound quiet.

All in 5 vehicles are non rev in this train
2 BSK, 1gen can, 1kitchen, 1buffet (thought SD had finished using buffets)

Leaves 2 Pullman, 2 second class and 4 first

Why two genny vehicles anyway? Looking at the videos you have the deafening BG one & the usual quieter one in the BSK next to it!
