July 7: Roanoke, VA to Bristol, VA (one way with bus return)

July 8: Bristol, VA to Knoxville, TN (one way with bus return)

July 16: Knoxville, TN to Chattanooga, TN (via Harriman Junction) (one way with bus return)

*Sept 1 & 2: Chattanooga, TN to Cleveland, TN (two round trips per day)*

Sept 8: Chattanooga, TN to Birmingham, AL (one way with bus return)
Presumed power shall be Southern Railway 2-8-0 630.

*Chattanooga makes for a great destination for railfans. Ever heard of the Chattanooga Choo Choo? Tennessee Valley Railway Museum and NS have their annual train festival that weekend so a visit to the city would make for a great weekend.

Norfolk Southern is also celebrating there 30th Anniversary this year. Locomotives Shall be Southern 630 and Nickel Plate Road 765. The ferry moves to get them situated between weekend worker trips shall create the main excitement. Horseshoe Curve with the 765 is not to be missed.

Today Southern 630 made a trip from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Atlanta, Georgia. A distance of 152miles 1-way, if I remember correctly. The locomotive has been having slight bearing problems hence the diesels.
