Absolutely and it's good that NR was able to sort out a problem of their own making (at Llandudno) without ruining the day. I hope, therefore, that someone thinks to thank NR for what they did and for New Street. "Catch them being good" is a maxim that often works with children and it might also help into the future with NR.

By the way, the 'spell check' suggestion for Llandudno is 'Holland'. Clearly the world really is going mad!

yea, I noticed that, that must be firefox, every time its updated it returns to " English US", annoying, means changing back to "EnglishUK" each time on the options tab.

Try installing ieSpell, works very well from an icon on your command bar with all applictions I use that don't have their own spell check. OK it may use some US spellings but once you add the UK spelling to it's dictionary that solves the problem. ieSpell - Download

Ralph - will it cure "could of - would of"? - drives me wild and indicates all too clearly the pending illiteracy of so many OPs

No, more's the pity, I also despair at the apparent lack of basic spelling, punctuation and grammar, that pervades our everyday life.

Some years we were writing about some locos in Basford Hall which had come from Scotrail. Spellcheck had some quite interesting offerings for Basford Hall and Scotrail - but I don't know if it has been amended since - try it!

Thanks for that Ralph, I'll give it a try, the Firefox one drives me nuts, have to check with Oxford dictionary to make sure.
