Still no word on footplate rides? I know there isn't much of the gala left - did they do any at all?

They are doing them, there's a sales stand on Llangollen station I believe. Unfortunately the person you are emailing is too busy to access a pc and no-one else seems to have taken this side of things up whilst the event is underway.

I have just had a message from Glyn (Admin) who says that the car park at Carrog is closed due to the feild being waterlogged. I am off there shortly so camping should be fun...

That doesn't sound good. Not surprised though with all the serious drenching the country has received this week.

Hope its only a very temporary closure and can reopen before the Gala ends.

Neil there's got to be easier ways of scoring a day off parking duty than flooding a field ;-)

Can anyone advise on the times of the first few trains off Llangollen tomorrow? Will be buying a booklet once there but it'd be useful to know what time I've got to get out of bed in the morning! Thanks in advance folks.

Can anyone confirm how many engines will be in the cavalcade on Sunday, and how many Carrog runpasts it will do?

    Thanks,
    Lewis

Many thanks to those who have worked so hard to put on a fantastic event. For those who have not visited you still have two days - dont miss it !.

Raining today, yes - what the heck.

One constructive comment, by the afternoon the trains were getting cold - perhaps the steam heating should be back on by around 14.00 ?.

Best of luck over the next two days and thank you again.
