Seems the Lyn website has been hacked.... Similar trojan to that experienced by the Penrhyn Quarry folks, so be warned...

The Boiler is being built by Bennetts Boilers of Somerset and they have done some really good work for Leighton Buzzard in the past

    Thanks for highlighting this, Weltrol.

I have removed the virus, but for a few days at least, until I can beef up the security (again) there is a risk of re-infection, so please bear this in mind. Much as I hate to say it, I should advise you NOT to visit the site for the time being. I will post an update here as soon as I have any further information.

Not exactly Lyn - but closely related. I spent a pleasant afternoon visiting the L&B Heritage Coaches Project at Great Yeldham in Essex. Still a lot of work to do, but the quality and attention to detail is impressive, and it will be great to see these two coaches hauled behind Lyn in the not-too-distant future... See a brief photo-journal HERE.

Indeed, the coaches project is most impressive. There is more detail at: Heritage Coaches | Lynton_&_ Barnstaple_Railway
There's also a Paypal donation button that site - please consider popping a tenner or two into the fund! :)
