In much the same way a Loco owner can do what they like with their engine, a pic taker can do what they wish with the result.

Like the headboard - good idea but should have been bigger and had the web address on it to gain maximum benefit. Suggest next time they go for a hi-viz background too, then ask for donations not to run with it :)

As for the colour - no comment.

It seems all too clear to me - and probably to others too - that Frank is certainly not the one who "always" seeks to "have the last word" ..... but, then again, he doesn't spend most of his days in a darkened room sat in front of a computer screen.

Indeed they can as long as, in my opinion, they don't try to pass off the result as a true representation of what was there and Frank didn't, he said what he'd done.
Anyway let's be grateful that 46233 is running.
    Alan.

As I have said elsewhere I shall be on board this afternoon supporting 46233. Some no doubt will just be enjoying the free show at the lineside.

A paid for ticket, that goes with the other 4 trckets I've paid for this year.... And if you think stewarding is a free ride, someday you should try it, being polite to passengers all day even in the face of adversity.. Yea easy.....

Polite stewards? - you have met Mr Fishface haven't you - he has no difficulty in being extremely abrupt!

Seriously - have a good one - I'll save my railtouring money for some of the action later this year - if it runs, especially steam over the Highland Main Line - its get the road going toys out season just now and that puts even tour fares into the shade - an M o T and a service alone yesterday; getting the decker to and from the M o T and the test accounts for no less than £150! as it now costs 70p a mile in fuel alone - Grows on trees it does!

Flippin heck! All this bickering is just nonsence!
Heres me thinking that this thread was for the progress of test runs for 46233? I must have been wrong!
Now come on, I think that both of you are great guys (frank and Ralph) and you can have your view on opinion but bickering over something like this is just silly! If it aint livery on this forum, it's now headboards!
Come on guys, kiss and make up!
    Uh....:fear:
    maybe not that far!
Hope everyone on todays train enjoys themselves :D
    Matt
