I have just seen that over on UKSteam info. Any news on why it may be rescheduled? I was thinking of going out this afternoon for this.

Somebody who is at butterly has said that it isnt a hotbox, but they wont say much more because there waiting for the PRCLT to release a statement. Something to do with teething troubles or something? (time to go to the dentist me thinks!)

Test run curtailed at Derby - motion running very hot according to the support crew - returned to Butterley tender first - still - a chance to sample the bar at Sheffield - excellent place. Thornbridge resident ales and more guest beers than you can sink in a session.

    When's the next run???

Spoke to the support crew at Derby - they said the motion was running hot. Hopefully a thou off and it won't be,

Mildly warm tender bearing, decided not worth the risk, returned to butterley for investigation. A very sensible precaution going by whats happened to other similar tender bearings very recently

Oh dear it's happening already, conflicting reports of the problem, tender bearing warm or motion running hot.....someone needs to verify their facts.

Excellent pictures and thanks for the info Ralph.
It now says on UKsteam that the test run ran Butterly - Derby - Butterly only. No suggestion of failure.

I don't get involved in livery discussions but bye 'ell, it does look handsome. Well done to all who have put their time, effort, and money into it.
