For anyone that’s interested, I had a quick visit to the NRM on Saturday 12th March and noted a few items of interest.

Green Arrow which moved from Darlington last autumn is over a public inspection pit where you can walk the full length underneath for a different view.
Nice to see Evening Star back from Swindon with steps at the side so you can peer onto the footplate.

What I think is Tornado’s newly painted Tender is in the ‘movements’ area on the left before you go into the vast small items collection ‘Warehouse’.
Her support coach which I read not long ago was in Darlington was being worked on outside.
To the left inside the Warehouse up against a wall are the pre-streamlining ‘cab side’ metal sheets with 46229 still visible.

Olton Hall (as Hogwarts Castle) which I thought had gone back to Carnforth last year was noted in the Canvas ‘Depot’ building outside the ‘Station Hall’.
Outside the ‘Depot’ was class 47 47798 Prince William near to the NRM Support Coach 99953.

I think this is the support coach for B1 No. 61264, which the A1SLT have borrowed until their own one is completed.

Thanks Dan, someone will know for certain.
They had put the A1SLT boards on it.

Quick way to know - was it maroon? The new one is crimson and cream.
