    I see from the Steam Dreams web site that the Cathedrals Express, Paddington to Stratford On Avon, on the 23rd April with Britannia, is now stopping at High Wycombe, this means Saunderton from a standing start. Should be interesting..

    We always stopped @ High Wycombe in the '80s with the Shakespeare Limited trains and I can never recall it posing a problem to any of the Locos that worked those trains.

    Clan Line usually managed to breeze up Saunderton and over the top at 60 on a good day.

    I wasn't inferring that it would cause problems, just that from a stand it will make the climb more interesting that hitting the start at 60+
