Due to engineering works closing a platform at Sheffield Park trains were top and tailed yesterday by the C and Fenchurch. I got a couple of photos and a very windy video if anyone is intrested...

Thanks for the photos, in particular Fenchurch. Has the loco been officially retired now as it's boiler ticket was due to expire this month I think?

Thanks for the info. It'll be an odd Branch Line w/e coming up in March without 80151 and Fenchurch.

Yes great shame we've got no Standards in steam now. I can remember a Giants of Steam gala back in the early 2000's when we had 92240, 73082, 75027 and visiting 78022 in steam plus 33001. How times have changed!

My Dad and I went up to S.P this morning to catch 672 in steam on the footplate courses. Gloomy weather but nonetheless glad I got something of the loco again before it's ticket expires after the weekend. http://david422.fotopic.net/c1935318.html

It looks as though the cleaners have bulled 672 up for its final couple of days in service. Hoepfully it won't be too long before we are back up to two working Terriers again.

    Regards,

    Dan
