OK - the suspense is killing me - what was the time for the run - did they beat the Top Gear time?

Went through Riding Mill coasting, chasing a diesel unit to Hexham then had some speed on through Warden. Gather it was a little late into Carlisle. Trust the rest of the journey was uneventful. Looked good.
When is the next run round the circle? Why do they have all the 20 minute stops if they don't water/coal, or is it just to let others by? Like at Morpeth.

I heard from Ralph a while back that they coaled and watered at Preston.

Latest update on the text system is Warrington 13.47. Also there was an update from Wigan saying 35mins down there.

    Neil.

Cracking shot John. Here's my quick clip passing Winwick, near Warrington. Note the clown on the wrong side of the fence just on the curve. It doesn't look to me as though his shot would be any worse if he had stayed on the right side.

Nice one Austin, it's rods were working overtime there.

Got to laugh at the berk on the wrong side, he was so busy looking at his screen that he all but missed the shot.

Tornado on the "Christmas Coronation" today (Day 3)

Tornado was a little late this afternoon, and although the loco did not need to take water at Crewe, there was a few minutes' delay and the signal had to be reverted. I think the fire needed attention, which is no surprise after three tours in three days.

Here's pics of the train arriving, after arrival, and departing in a suitably large cloud of steam:
