My apologies about the date of the thread, it is indeed the 8th, 9th and 10th October. I had read the date off one line and had not looked above it for more information...

Dammit I'm in Germany! Pity, I'm rather fond of 73129. Though when I got an email through saying it was going to KWVR for the gala, I did wonder why the ED from Glos Warks was going up there....!

In addition to 73129, the Gala will also feature either one or two further visiting locomotives.
"Bellerophon" (owned by the Vintage Carriages Trust) has been confirmed, and negotiations are taking place with regard to another locomotive.

So, the Gala pool will be:

    73129, "X" (if confirmed), "Bellerophon", 90733, 80002, 47279, 41241, 957 and "Nunlow".

Will be nice to get the taste of a standard 4 at KWVR as we have only been chasing steam since 2004, secondly to see Bellerophon on home turf Will be great, would make a good photo charter with a few of the best fraight or vintage stock on.
