I hear that the engine is being tested on the mainline this week. Does this mean that the planned visit to the Blubell Railway :hail: can now go ahead. They were very let down by the failure of the engine ?

It would be nice but doubt it will make it to the Bluebell mainly as both the A1 Trust and Bluebell have confirmed the visit is off. Not heard about a mainline test run though?

The A1 website states that Tornade passed its hydraulic test today and a steam test will be forthcoming in the near future. I should imagine that there will still be some degree of reassembly to be done before it can run again. The website does state that the trust hope it will return to action on the 14th August.

The A1 locomotive trust has said that it wont be going to the bluebell.

It a shame, cause even though I live in the midlands so wouldn't have gone to see the it, the pictures would have been good.
