    Hi all,

I was on a photo charter with 'TORNADO' at the Great Central Railway on Tuesday and in spite of the mainly horrible weather had a good time. Thanks to all the staff at the railway for their efforts in making it a good day. My photographic efforts can be seen on my fotopic site.

Nice pics. Also liked your ones of the M&GN 50th Anniversary gala at the NNR. The last photo is that collection has a particularly good looking cleaner stood next to the L&Y 1300!

Lovely work there Paul. Made all the effort we put in cleaning her on Monday worthwhile. Particularly liked the 'Gifford-esque' shot approaching Rothley!

Is this to help with overnight servicing?

All they need now is the suspension to go up and down, and a giant sound system in the tender. Then they've got real street cred (or should that be rail cred?).

It was pretty dark in the shed area and this equipment was quite impressive, helping the oiling up process. I think Bulleid's have something similar as well.

They're strip LEDs -all mod cons! Was running with them switched on the previous Friday night at the GCR.

Nice photos of Tornado on the GCR. Definetly becoming a celebrity.
