    I wonder if it has anything to do with Galatea or 44932. Both were reported to be possibly be back around easter time...but i would say more likely to be the scot or 48151 surely?

    well the 8F is the only one I've seen in steam twice in the last 10 days so its favorite I reckon but! obviously there are four other loco's being worked on in there as far as I know, so the fantasy that maybe there'll be two out on tuesday is just my imagination working overtime.

    heard various rumours on this one, the 8f seems to be the most popular version, also heard it is now cancelled and running thursday instead. I will post if i get any info tomorrow, hopefully others will do the same.

    well I was just at carnforth and there's no sign of any steam so its probably off for tomorrow, also heard it'll be thurs.

    the 8F and olton hall are outside the shed today, rumour has it they will both be steam tested tomorrow.

    Won't be 45699 unless they've managed to work even bigger miracles than usual at 10A. Have seen a photo of it from about a month ago, or, rather, the rolling chassis, the only thing above the running board being the cabsides.

    I wouldnt even describe 45699 as a rolling chassis wheels and frames with a cab attached presently.
