Harry - sorry to trouble you with this. I saw a social media post saying working timetables could be ordered when purchasing advance tickets. I couldn't see any option to purchase a working timetable when I booked my tickets just now - please could you point me to where on the ticket sales site they are available? I won't arrive until later on on Friday so would prefer to reserve one as it says supplies are limited. Thank you.

Are all the station departure times now 15 minutes earlier?

    No.

It double crosses at Hampton Loade so all others remain the same.

    Morning All,

If you’re at the SVR today have a good day!

Ivatt 41313 has failed this morning with a broken grate. 75069 will replace for the morning, and possibly afternoon, but ESMP are already on the job of trying to fix the Ivatt.

A most enjoyable day today, especially the morning's round trip with 4150, seen during a break at Hampton Loade.

4150 was on the freight in the afternoon. Hopefully get some better photos of the guest locos over the next 3 days.

I was really impressed with the 17 wagon GWR goods train yesterday, hauled by a typical GWR steam loco. What a wonderful sight.

I heard a few comments about the guard's van at each end but we all know why that is. I also heard others mention how clean and shiny it all appeared. I wish that some folk could simply appreciate how lucky we are to be able to witness such a scene in 2026.

May I say well done and thank you to all who organised the event and are helping to run it. I'll be back on Sunday. <BJ>

Only problem is it's so long it's difficult to fit it in a photograph! IMG_20260918_134153199.jpg

The restorers of 4150 must be proud of their achievements byput the purist in me asks why the incorrect livery?

Because it hasn’t been painted. It’s a mix of undercoat and patch green to get it through running in and testing. The paint shop has a full diary until January.

Hadn't noticed it before now, but I do quite like the 'SVR' roundel on the left hand side :)

(screencap taken from new @LMarsh1987 video of course, ta :D)

I've crossed paths with it several times today and it's only now that I'm sat opposite it at Bewdley that I've noticed the roundel says SVR rather than GWR. Very nicely done and IMO a nice touch to add a little interest until the final paint job can be done.
