    Pinned post was updated yesterday in reflection of the announcement of the S15 attending. Obviously a reminder that as of the middle of June, previously announced 7828 "Odney Manor" is unable to visit.     Let the L&Y machines have a rest, bring in another couple of Southern machines and a GW pannier tank, and we could have a West Country themed event! Even let the hydraulics out if they repainted them green :D !

    Something to look forward to over the weekend? Since the first announcement went down so well, we are revealing our second Autumn Steam Gala guest on Monday evening! [​IMG][​IMG]
    A few teasers to get everyone guessing for this one…
    - An ELR debut, the very first time this particular loco is visiting our railway…
    - One of the earliest of its class to be built in 1930…
    - Earlier this year we hosted another locomotive from the same builder…

    I will let the last one sink in based on the above clues assuming 1930 is correct

    Same weekend as the Llangollen Railcar gala, so 7754 will be free. Is the " Bubble Car" still operational at the ELR, straight swap for the weekend?

    And not built till the 40s. ELR confirmed it is either a Kerr Stuart, Brighton or Darlington product so 7714 is prime candidate.
