It could be phrased a bit better: "we may need to change this ..." rather than "we reserve the right to change this".

Yeah, fair enough - I wasn't saying they had to copy my exact wording. It was more having something in there with the sentiment of "We are planning on doing this but things could change for reasons beyond our control"

Either way, if it's not in Stroudley Improved Engine Green with full lining, then I'm going to throw my toys out of the pram and whine all over social media :p;):D

Cannot help with the content but the price seems low to average for books these days.
I purchased my first Autocourse (review of the F1 season) in 1975 for 5.99. The BoE calculator tells me today that would be £45.73. It cost me £59.50 a couple of weeks back on an "offer" similar to that on the KESR book.

We'll compromise - IEG paint, full SECR lining for @Jamessquared, and BR early crest in the middle for you...

My copy has just arrived. High quality, hard bound with loose cover, - traditional style, 239 pages . From a quick flick through after it came thro the letter box look as though going to be a most interesting read. Mike

Leader? Last I heard they were working on a double-ended Terrier so that a chimney is always facing up (and down) Tenterden Bank - must be a bad case of mission creep.

Mine too, when I got home from work. I tend to start books like this in the middle so my attention was grabbed by the account of the Bodiam (Millennium funded) extension project and the financial crisis which came to light just as it was completed. Fascinating and well written, from the few pages so far.

Are you building a leader, so that when alien enthusiasts land in the car park, and say, take me to your leader, you can say, yes, its here in the workshop :)
