Anyone up for asking him how it felt to lose on the black in the final frame of the World Championship having been 7-0 up earlier in the match?

Well that could be very entertaining if a few of the disaffected showed up …..

If I was any good at forensic questioning and thinking on my feet in public, I'd give my senior's railcard its first outing. I'm sincerely hoping that someone will go and ask the awkward questions that many (certainly on here) would like to see answered.

I'm expecting placards, chanting and ceremonial burning of bank standings orders at the very least.

    "What do we want?
    Tornado on the mainline!
    When do we want it?
As soon as is practically possible, bearing in mind operational priorities and subject to the usual caveats."

I’ve done my best at several conventions in the past since DE ‘left’ the board, but this just resulted in Boris style blustering replies from SD with nothing insightful being gleaned. There was zero support from the sheeple in the room, and I felt the effort I had made to overcome my innate shyness was wasted. For this reason I no longer attend.

That's the reason to attend even more, having the guts to ask a cutting question, should never be ignored, and pressing until you get the answer you want.

Tell you who would be good at that , our friend from the pet pond........

I won’t bore everyone with replays of my accounts of previous Q&As - it’s all there up-thread. Suffice to say I strongly questioned the decision to u-turn and repair the old boiler rather than await the new ones, and look how well that turned out.

Q and A? Isn't there just one 'Q' - "Given the catalogue of difficulties that have delayed the return of Tornado to the main line, can you give us a list of the checks and balances now in place to safeguard future operations?"

I'd also want questions asked about the P2. As far as I'm concerned, the V4 is a dead duck.

    The real question should be:-

In light of the sustained inability of the Trust to deliver Tornado to the mainline, all efforts on the P2, come to a halt, do you Mr Davis, consider your position, and that of the current board to be tenable???

I'd wager no-one would ask it though.

Hear hear! Maybe I will return to the convention for one last time …… sadly though it’s too far away to prompt the emergency surgery that’s so urgently required :(
