It was great to meet you too - I really enjoyed the gala and ended up talking to quite a few people , because it wasn't mega busy everyone seemed very relaxed...

Can confirm Esso 2335 is at Rowsley, but is not the one in the photo which is numbered 1851 though probably fictitious.

We've got a really busy main road at Rolvenden, which they're free to go and play with to their heart's content....

An attitude like that will really encourage families to visit. Not! I hope that's not the official KESR attitude.

Of course it's not. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of them, but there are these things called "jokes".....

Go to http://www.dwvrt.co.uk/news.html, latest information about the footbridge was march, not sure what the progress is on that, the building is still owned by Derbyshire dales district council and has been left to rot other than a few roof repairs, the trust tried to either buy the building or secure a lease but afaik they weren’t successful. The recent gala has shown that PR is coming back to life after a long slumber, hopefully that will be reflected in some effort put in to the premier heritage station on the line.

I've been shown a photo of a Bulleid tender in the yard at Rowsley. Does anyone know what tender it is, and how it got there?

Bulleid 6000g tender 3348 currently paired with 35027 Port Line belonging to LSL /RSLGT at Crewe. I'm not aware of what PR may be contracted to do with it however?

This tender has run with 34039 Boscastle, 35005 CanPac and 34007 Wadebridge in preservation.
