Looks like this will run this Thursday I imagine with Tangmere as the black 5 is doing a trip down south the day before?
Will the carriages get back to Carnforth?

There's no option of booking any seats on the WCRC website on Thursday's trip. The ECS from the Swanage trip gets back to Southall at nearly midnight, so not enough time to get it back north for Thursday. My money is on that it's been cancelled.

My understanding was the SSE was to use a different set. Possibly Riviera MK2?

Just had a proper look at the loading and it looks full so probably why no more bookings are being taken so no pay on the day.

Saphos have two POTDs, both are aimed at preserving the upmarket ambiance of their trains. First, those wishing to travel are advised, "Please Observe The Dress (code)" whilst those who fail to do so might be told to "P*s* Off, Too Dishevelled!" (Only joking as they've let me on in the past, and hopefully will do so again later in the year.)

Probably the Eagle owl on your shoulder and the wooden leg wouldn't help. :)

Come now, that would be discrimination of a kind that is now illegal.

Quite right, under recent laws Eagle Owls with a wooden leg are now a protected species and have to admitted wherever they want to go.

Tangmere wasn’t doing much work but completely understandable given the hot weather.

34067 at Starrick's Farm and near Arkholme . Did look at Midland Shed but the shot is no longer available due to the lineside growth.
