I did see rather a lot of people dressed in footplate gear, using the Teddy Bear as a tripod on the webcam earlier… Nice to see those efforts :)
Just out of interest where does No29’s whistle come from? That sounds impressive.

I know and accept the operational reasons that the set can't stay like that for the weekend but it does feel a shame. The loco with that set looks top notch. Looking forward to tomorrow and Saturday at the gala.

Can anyone confirm which way 4930 is facing? I'm guessing that it is facing Kidderminster - is that correct and are there any plans to turn it during the gala?

Really enjoyable day the SVR today, 13268 star of the show today undoubtably on that 9 L +Stoke R rake, looking and sounding the business, the pick-up goods is such an interest, saw the activity at Arley around 2pm with 7812 barking away as she does.

Fenchurch ale is very nice (which was only available at the King & Castle today!) , wish I could have had a few more pints of that!

Well done to all concerned and hope everybody enjoys the next 3 days.

7812 ‘Erlestoke Manor’ departs Arley on Pick-Up Goods - Thursday 18/04/2024
1369 hurries away from Bridgnorth with GWR 650 & 6045 in tow - Thursday 18/04/2024

Why does the last run from Bridgnorth on Sunday behind Taw Valley terminate at Bewdley?
