On FB it has been asked that as last week's attack is under investigation can discussion related to it stop until the investigation concluded.
(Mods please edit posts if possible?)

Unless a post has named a suspect, I see no reason to edit existing posts. Likewise just because someone on Facebook asked for no discussion doesn't make it a rule either on Facebook or nat-pres

A GWR Siphon G vehicle was the main victim; I believe the image used on the ITV news story is the wrong one/from a previous attack?

Regret to report that some carriage parts have been stolen from Peak Rail's Rowsley South site. Even more regrettable is that the parts are so specific that it appears a 'carriage person' is involved, rather than a scrappie or to be sold on eBay . They are compartment mirrors, BR 'back to back' type (photo), heating controls and a lighting control cover. Other coaches on site are being inspected.
    Any information please contact peakrail@peakrail.co.uk

I wasn't aware of this until it popped up in my YT recommendations:

I have to say that Gresley Buffet Car looks splendid.
