Do we know if any viewing access is being catered for at Bridgnorth?
I'm visiting on the preview Thursday and would like to see progress on 4150, 82045 and 2968 if possible?

I did read a few weeks ago that 2968 might be outside in the yard with a fire in it, depending on progress. I would assume there will be no access inside the shed, Unfortunately they don't allow it at galas now, but usually is open for the Open House Weekend.

Yes, understandable that physical access isn't available inside the shed but I was thinking of safe viewing where shutters are lifted?

Any news on whether the GWR set will appear?

A 3 coach set will run. Formed of 2 coaches from the Spring Gala which already had spam locks and then 650 which is the first to be modified with new doors locks.

It's been carrying it all year. It makes sense for the notes to match what is actually on the loco.

Technically not fictitious. It had that number when first built

And that's definitely the number painted on it in real life right now so not a work of fiction!

A pity it's still in this temporary livery though, which is so obviously wrong for a rebuilt loco.

It’s temporary because as soon as the season is up in January it’s going in to the shop and being stripped down.

The cost of putting it in to BR Green with all the lining and trimmings, etc just wasn’t worth thinking about compared to black. And if I’m being honest it’s proved incredibly popular.

Yes, it's £4 per day. Payment doesn't have to be at any particular time each day, just as long as it's done on that day at some point. Bewdley and Bridgnorth should be the same.

it didn’t carry that number in modified form so as far as I am concerned it’s fictitious. Also it was never in the livery.

Ah well fair enough. I’ll pass your comments on but as I said it’s very popular and has drawn some good comments so I don’t think it’ll be changed at this stage!
