The TDR crews may not like it. I don’t know and haven’t asked them. However, having driven it a good few times since it came to the UK I think it’s a cracking loco, well up to any job you want it to do.
I believe it’s in service this week.

    Oh yes! Indeed I did!
Well then, in that case, wait till 4110 and 5239 come back from their holibobs, then load Omaha up and send it packing to Churnet!
    Problem solved! :D

Anyway back to the NYMR, I think a Merchent Navy is due a visit, don't you?
Would like excellent with Repton and 80136.
I also would assume at some point 92134 and 92214 will run in tandem?

Think you will struggle to get the Strathspey let that leave anytime soon, they are (rightfully) very proud of it, but never say never - didn't think I would see 828 on the SVR all those years ago!

Talking of which, Tunbridge Wells to Aviemore via Grosmont!?! ;)

I remember that appearance of 828 at the SVR in 2011, my then boss asked if I could work that Saturday at the last minute so he could entertain a lady friend…
‘Sorry mate, I’m entertaining friends of my own on Saturday:)

    Worst wing-man ever…

Does the phrase “Bro’s before loco’s” mean nothing to you? ;)

When regarding my red pen, no sodding chance!
My boss at the time really did seem to think some of us were just sat at home with nothing else to do.
Tbf he’s not a bad bloke but I sometimes don’t think he realised that some of us had a life outside of work.

I do recall a rather interesting conversation with him the once about why I couldn’t come into work that evening when I was sat on the beach at Sheringham with Ms D6968 when we were doing the long distance thing. :)

I hadn't opened mine because it came in an envelope marked something like "AGM documents enclosed" or similar and I assumed it was just something from my bank, pensions company, etc and just put it aside without opening it.

Thanks - I don't think mine even got that far... not had post from NYMR. But I've hopefully had a replacement sent now, so fingers crossed!

Always nice when a tank engine visits.
So I am guessing this is the final line-up?:

    Visitors:
    55189.
    60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley".
    75069.
    92214.

    Home Fleet:
    8 "Lucie".
    29 "Peggy".
    926 "Repton".
    5428 "Eric Treacy".
    65894.
    80136.
    92134.

    Spares:
    825.
    63395.
    76079.

They have certainly done it again, what a cracking event this is going to be.
Be glued to the webcam this year. :p

As @Southernman99 said, all three have been withdrawn - 63395 failed on 16th May when it's right cylinder blew up at Grosmont, 825 withdrawn around the same time with a crack in the tubeplate which requires major surgery and 76079 withdrawn also in May with leaking boiler tubes. Tender gone to Norfolk for a loan period to replace 76084s which has a leaking tank. The loco is in storage at the carriage shed at Pickering.
