Tank Wagons on the E Lancs Railway

Richarde Newton's charter on friday was probably the only one I've been on where I went primarily for the stock rather than the loco. The ELR have done a great job on restoring the tank wagons, well worth the 4 am start from home and an 'interesting' journey up the M6.

Thanks Matt, Richard normally likes to get things as realistic as possible. A tiring couple of days, at Keighley on Saturday but a lot to show for it.

 

Was a long old day for those of us who were on the footplate.... some nice pictures there.
