RTT shows the ECS movement as "cancelled at operator's request". If 34067 has left, when was that?

I think you should assume it isn't going anywhere.

What a shame for all involved. I wonder if a 67 can carry the Golden Arrow regalia!?

These things happen, I'm sure all involved did their best, there was talk of a Black 5 substituting but obviously it didn't come together for some reason.

Yes, but there was a post a few back which said it had already left, hence my doubt. Do we know if it is a serious issue?

RH updated the position yesterday to 'tbc' with a special note saying the position re. traction would be confirmed - nothing has appeared since (and it's too late now, of course), but I assume a 67 has taken today's Pullmans? BTW, this is the view I now get of the message screens here - is it the same for other users? It's quite distracting, but if it pays the bills... Screenshot 2022-11-12 at 11.08.28.png

Yes I get that screen with the ad too. The header menu and alerts drop down etc is totally unusable. I'm hoping it's a blip and gets sorted. If not, I won't be using Nat Pres much longer.

I use ad block while using Chrome on my PC, and Brave as the browser on my phone which blocks Ads.

AdGuard or Adblock plus will get rid of the adverts.

I don't mind appropriate advertising but the advertisers that I might consider appropriate just simply do not have the spending power/advertising budget of Disney which can be seen as part of the problem. However given the number of people who now won't touch a Disney product with the proverbial pole it does make one wonder whether the taste and requirement of the "target audience" has been correctly identified.

Thank goodness for ad blockers. If you have not got one please consider it.

I think it's a tad OTT to talk of 'throwing toys out' - the blurb for the 19th trip also still talks about enthusiasts recognising 'Clan Line' and goes on to talk about it a bit - at least a note to mention the substitutions/unavailability of '28 (which isn't a last-minute thing, after all) would be easy to do, and helpful to some passengers.

I think you will find that those who needed to know - i.e. those who paid several hundred pounds for the trip - were told. The fact that the company that maintains the web site may be slow to update is another matter.

I totally get the need for Adverts to raise revenue but if said Ad without further third party ad=blocking software renders the site unusable or un-navigable, then what's the point? Isn't the Disney Ad just a step too far in how it messes with the navigation of the site? I'm not able to use my iPad yet Mac and Phone look unaffected yet all have latest IOS.

...and looks as if it seems to have been allocated to tomorrow's BP trip as well:-

An interesting route, but the recently trialled Kent circuit is out of the question as both Canterbury East - Dover and Orpington - Tonbridge are closed due to engineering works.

So do I take it from those timings it is diesel hauled from Victoria to Kenny O and Didcot to Hinksey Sidings? Hardly the best destination that Belmond have ever visited I guess.
