Event map to help with your planning and to ensure you don't miss anything! You can expect the ex Ivo Peters Bentley to make a number of appearances at Gotherington over the weekend for photo opportunities with passing trains. Always a good place to stop for some refreshments and a go on the pump trolley too....

And another..... With another one due later today. Starting to feel very real now with a little over a week to go! Total steam mileage for the event an impressive 1417.5 miles, 9 engines, bargain @£31 for an adult day ticket if purchased in advance we'd say.....

Web site still hasn't been updated to include these changes, I take it yours here are the correct ones?

You are correct, the webmaster has made changes to site last week but for some unknown reason the changes didn't save. He then went away for a few days. He is back on the case later on today so should all soon be resolved!

Currently awaiting the arrival of 46521

Looks like excitement has caused a couple of cases of fat finger dyslexia, or something equally similar (LOL) :D

I wouldn't call it excitement at this stage, let's go with much stress and hassle and fat finger dyslexia......…!

Seriously, the guys in the team have all done a cracking job pulling this event together over many months. As Mike has said, 9 standard gauge steam with 2 narrow gauge all for £31 advance sales. Throw in the traction engines, carriage and wagon visits, the beer tent, Ivo’s Bentley and access to gotherington amongst many more things, it really is a great event and excellent value! If you haven’t been to a gwsr Cotswold festival of steam before, I recommend it (I’m completely biased of course). Come and support us as who knows how long these big events will continue.

2 X 3 day rover tickets already in the bag, hotel booked, anti-rain dance being performed twice daily for good measure. To say we are looking forward to this mega event is a gross under statement. Thanks for everyone's efforts even before we get there.

Excellent, thank you for your support! I'm driving Eddystone all day Saturday so do come say hello. Keep that anti-rain dance up, if not we know who to blame

FB_IMG_1653591139599.jpg Who was expecting this then...??! With grateful thanks to The Watercress Line & Somerset and Dorset Railway Trust we are delighted to have the Trust's PMV for the event. Expect to see this at Winchcombe and on the local set during the event.

This has been made possible by the kind support of Railway Support Services

Anyone know if I can buy a ticket on the day at Cheltenham.
Website seems to suggest only possible at Toddington, Broadway or Winchcombe
