Random people on social media aren't generally a reliable source of information...

Indeed: hence the request for information that would be reliable. If those who possess reliable information decline to provide it, that's an invitation to speculation.

On the Watercress line Facebook page someone said it was having a lot of bodywork done so is not serviceable, but will be soon (no timetable).
Ideally if there is a group looking after it should give updates. There is a 1125 "group" on Facebook with old photos but no updates.

Well the overhaul for the moment had been suspended.

But also a big chuck of money was left in a bequest to be spent on the unit by someone who 1125 was his favourite 'train'. Although they were preparing to make good use of it on 1125 this 'source' said that thanks to some loophole or something the money has been taken away and spent on something else.

That's assuming there is anyone on here with reliable information - in this case, I don't believe that any of those involved with the group who look after the unit, frequent this forum. This is not an official outlet for any heritage railway, so not the place to be looking if you're after reliable information!

    I can't believe I'm doing this...
You could see the cab in the main shed from the entrance this morning (at least, I think it was K... I don't think there is anything else that small on the railway). I doubt it's going to be hidden away.

Oh, and it appears to have had a change of livery.

I have no inside information, but I have heard several near identical stories about other locos/stock on the line over the past years and none of them turned out to be true. The issue with delays with overhauls is normally about other resources than just cash, i.e paid and volunteer staff time and space in the works, carriage or otherwise. Overhaul priorities do change to reflect the most pressing needs. As you can see from my avatar, I am a fan of "Hammy" myself and miss 1125 parked at the end of my garden!

Seeing as Kilmersdon worked its entire life at the colliery I suspect its NCB green. It also means it can run around as Percy at Thomas events

Percy throw up green, :Hilarious: :) At least its being overhauled, and can earn the trust money, that in turn can go towards 88's overhaul.

Is this supposed to be 30925 and 53808's last gala, or do their tickets see them through to the end of the year and thus potentially appearing at the Autumn Gala?

53808 expires in November and 30925 in December but obviously of course nothing is always certain so yes you could say this is one of their last galas at least.
