Didcot,s G.W.R. 1466 tank engine overhaul news

    No I do not currently volunteer
    (Mods I'm not sure if theres already a thread for this tank engine)
    But anyhow according to rail advent 1466 boiler has successfully been trial fitted into the running frames but still needs further riveting work on it.

    Thanks for drawing attention to this. I hadn't realised she had been South Devon based for much of her BR life. I must have traveled behind her on a number of occasions when roaming the branch lines in pre-Beeching days. Happy to chip in to help.
