    34028 went to DB Cargo's depot at Toton to have it's driving wheels reprofiled on the ground lathe.
    Due back at Norden tomorrow (Friday) afternoon I believe.

    That's been the case for all the trips to Cardiff at least since the start of the pandemic. They've all turned the whole train at Maindee on the way, apart from the VT one which turned at Park Jn at the start of the Ebbw Vale line.

    46100 was parked outside, fully coaled and coupled to a support coach on Saturday, so I would've thought that would be a good bet.

    Edit - and that's exactly what LSL have put on Facebook a few minutes ago.

    Unusual shot; liked it!

    I'm surprised how bright the lighting is in the cab. Given the poor visibility from a steam loco cab, I'd have thought it might make signal sighting (especially semaphores) a touch tricky.
