    Second tour in a row with the 40s where the locos have stayed on the same end the whole trip as well. Both out and back tours, so you'd expect them to run round, but instead they've turned the set instead.

    Probably simpler, cheaper and easier to do that than run around 3 locos

    I was actually thinking that in air-con stock you will not hear much from the front.

    Not turned, came in direct via Haymarket, back via the Edinburgh 'sub' so no need to turn.

    Whistlers D345 & D213 Andania + 47828 on the rear seen from a sunny Salterwath then crawling into Oxenholme Station on the return due to a red signal.
