Sorry to be pedantic but 80136 has made a visit to GCR during it's current ticket.

957 in the guise of 52044 was once at the SVR for a brief period to have some work done on it, and did one round trip Bridgnorth to Kidderminster.

Yes I know, they were just examples of what hasn't been anywhere since overhaul and have maybe forgotten some. :)

Prexactly! Be nice if 825 and 31806 visited, give it a bit of a Southern-cross West Country theme! :Smug:

    Why isn't 34027 allowed out?

The people that own 34027 will only allow it out if it's mainline certified, so Epping, GWSR, GCR and Spa Valley are no-no's (unfortunately).

75069 had a summer on hire to the WSR in 1994 (I had to look it up!)

It does say /since overhaul/. My was comment was intended to be a bit more glib given recent postings.

Well yes, that's what the point was, I haven't been on this earth long enough to remember THAT far back.

It will be nice either way, I just hope it's something that nobody expects, that's all. :)

Saturday saw a mass training day for Epping's new Wickham - even made it to Ongar for the first time.

Yes and failed so 7802 was sent down to replace. Subsequently, 75069 was repaired and remember spending a week at the WSR with the pair in charge of all services.

IIRC 75069 had a number of boiler problems when it was at the WSR after arriving on a Railtour. We visited the WSR during our holiday in 1994 hoping to get a trip behind her but she was out of action for repairs.
We didn't have much luck during our 1993 holiday either when we travelled from North Devon to Paignton to travel behind 60103. Arrived at Paignton to find the A3 sitting in the yard with the smoke box door wide open undergoing repairs after failing.
