    It's been using one of ours.

    There's no hard & fast rule that any steam loco move must have support coach. Like all things nowadays, you assess, then take the appropriate actions - and Carnforth to Keighley is hardly a high risk.

    Heard from a friend of mine who was a steward on Scotsman over the weekend that coal was a few lumps with 60% dust. The dust was just setting on the bars and with no rocking grate you can’t shake the bars,

    All that dosh spent and they didnt retrofit a rocking grate ? tut tut, dont tell me because its ' not historically accurate'.
