Pathed at 60 mph both ways, even though tender-first one way? Or T&T? Or what?

I hadn't actually noticed this. I've always known it to be tender first between Chester and Llandudno Junction & Blaenau and Llandudno Junction

We spoke to RTC earlier in the week and asked if they could email the tickets as our post is, let’s say, not what it used to be.

46115 catches the early morning light, working the empty stock for the Welsh mountaineer through Brock.

Crossing theWeaver Navigation after leaving the loop at Frodsham Junction.
Not perfect this morning but the reflection is better than the outward trip on Sunday when the rowing club turned up just before the train (not unusual)
I have no connection with the transit van but I couldn't crop it out, could I ?

Fear not Al, I just left it in for the humour. My final version won't include the visible road.

RTT shows the train leaving North Llanrwst 7 late at 12.24 but no further times. It was estimated arrival at Blaenau Ffestiniog at 13.14 but it is now 14.00 with no arrival shown. I know that sometimes reporting can be omitted but, in view of problems frequently occurring on this line, is there one now?

Only 5 coaches (I assume 1 is POB)? I know the route is arduous but not sure how that can be economically viable?

It made up time after Llanrwst and was seen storming into the tunnel.

We did have a little struggle in one of the tunnels by stalling, 3 attempts later we were roaring away again
