I see the DSR were the purchasers of two coaches.

By the process of elimination then, the CK and SK are two of the glamping coaches?

I’m not sure as Bob mentioned suggesting that the trust try to arrange a swap with the coaches destined for glamping for trust owned CKs. That wouldn’t be suggested if one is the CK surely unless it’s in much better condition?

Aren’t there 6 TSOs already spoken for?

    1 to EOR
    1 to MNR
    2 to DSR
    1 to LR Trust
1 to private owner to remain at Llangollen

The function coach also bought by a private buyer to remain at Llangollen.

So that is 7 coaches accounted for out of (I believe) 10 included in the auction. So the 3 remaining coaches (including SK and CK) must be the 3 reported as being sold for glamping accommodation?

    It does seem that way.

I think after re- reading the post (I couldn’t find it in the thread at the time of posting, then realised it’s in the glamping thread), that the suggested swap was for poorer condition coaches rather than type which would then tally with the above list.

The third being a BSK. Crimson and cream one that C&W had just finished overhauling.

Was that the one with the luggage van converted for wheelchair spaces, or am I getting mixed up with another coach?

Although LR Trust seem to have enough coaches to run services, did they get a couple of coaches with wheelchair access?

Surely something must be done about a BSK being turned into a glamping coach, being a brake I'd have thought would make it relatively sought after for railways hoping to expand their operations.

I suspect the DSR are trying to trim down their DMU trailer fleet. They have acquired two TSOs from Llangollen and one from SDR this year, and it's not like they can run anymore services or have longer length trains when it's a two train service.

If I understand correctly they also hung on to the other accessible BSK 35188.

As I can’t seem to post pictures on here I’ll add a link instead, sorry it’s Facebook but hopefully it’ll work.

I finished the repaint of the Kitson this week ready to go on hire.

In other news 3802 had a successful insurance steam test this morning. It was taken down to the station for some testing also.

Monkey Magic, thanks for that. Never noticed that button before, the add media one above is the one I’ve always tried. Anyway, hopefully this works:
