Neither of the accessible BSK's are listed as PLC assets.

maybe I'm being Naive but given the impending Auction is the Trust not pushing fundraising to bolster their ability to bid or are they hoping supportive individuals will fill the gap and bid for items personally

Possibly a mixture of both? Their own funds for the absolutely essential items, and encouraging others to bid for the note quite essential but very desirable to have items. That’s the impression I get.

Maybe they're not intending to bid for any of the items listed for the auction and the "advanced negotiations with an interested party looking to take on the business" includes holding back all the assets the Trust has deemed as essential to running the railway?

The Carriage Database shows the 2 accessablity enabled BSKs as PLC owned.
Have not gone though the database but shows 5 of the 10 TSOs as PLC asserts (but not if they are accessablity enabled?.
Has the details of which MK1 PLC owned 10 or 11 carriages will be in the auction been published (if some are now ringfenced for the trust), or will that be published in the auction catalogue due to be published tomorrow?

Others on here have said the ownership record on the carriage database is best not to be relied upon.

We’ll only know for certain what is being sold once the catalogue is issued tomorrow.

As posted above the otherwise excellent VCT database is not totally accurate as regards ownership. HR listed the PLC owned vehicles that are to be auctioned and neither of the accessible BSK's are included. See posts 1307 to 1311.

I’m sure that I saw an interview a few weeks ago with the Trust Chairman in which he stated that their top priority in terms of acquiring assets was to secure an accessible carriage. Presumably one of the TSOs.

The auction catalogue is due for publication today. Has anyone had sight of it?
