    Of the preserved french locomotives class 141R, I think no.1244 are the best maintained and shiny one! ,(not that strange maybe since it`s in swiss ownership.) ;)It also has the livery I like best:Happy:

    Here is an excellent made study of this magnificent engine!

    The final part of my video featuring 141R1244 in 1997 is now on YouTube; the loco is seen departing from Airolo with an Re 4/4/ II as a pilot though the Gotthard Tunnel, and then pounding through Flüelen at speed on its way home to Brugg. Hope it's of interest:

    Yes very nice but no better or worse than 141 1126 leaving Vierzon France with a Toulouse to Aubrais ,AJECTA three day tour , and 840 / 426 leaving Aubrais for Longville ,the next day .Sept' 2011.
